With Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), Berlin has a central international airport which allows you to get to Berlin from all across the world. As the gateway to the world, BER Airport is very well connected to the road and rail network. With its own railway station beneath Terminal 1 (Level U2), BER is directly connected to suburban and regional trains. The Airport Express takes you to Berlin Central Station in 30 minutes. You can also take the S-Bahn S9 to the city center, which runs every 20 minutes.

With its location in the centre of Europe, Berlin is the perfect hub for train connections throughout Europe. From almost any major city, you can reach Berlin comfortably and environmentally friendly with fast train connections. The major train company is called Deutsche Bahn (DB). The main station is called Hauptbahnhof (Hbf.). Besides the main station, various large railway stations are spread across the city, so that no matter which direction you are travelling from, you can easily change to public transport. Various European train companies offer night train connections to Berlin, e. g. from Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, Vienna, Zurich, Basel and Budapest.

Staying in Berlin
In general, Berlin offers accommodation in all price categories. Nowadays, hotel rooms are dynamically priced, i.e. prices change with demand and vary depending on which provider you book the room with. It is often worth looking for prices not only on booking platforms, but also directly on the website of the desired hotel.
We strongly recommend staying as close as possible to the venue. Ideally directly at the Marriott Hotel. If you’re on a budget, there are of course cheaper options within a reasonable distance. Single rooms often cost as much as double rooms, so try to share a room.
In addition to hotels, there are also numerous hostels with affordable shared rooms. Another option are vacation apartments, which you can book via Airbnb, for example. They have the advantage that they have a kitchen where you can prepare your meals. If you are traveling with friends, an apartment is a great way to spend time together.
In any case, it definitely makes sense to book your room as soon as possible.
The following list is sorted by distance to the Marriott Hotel. The prices stated are per night and are for orientation purposes only.
